Some Americans celebrate their freedom
by waving the flag. Others go to parades. This 4th of July, why not start your celebrating with a run?
The 37th Annual 4th of July 5-Miler is
the area's longest running (pun intended) running event. There's no
cost to enter. Sign-in begins at 7:15am at Glenn
Hall Park. The Kids' Half-Mile starts at 7:45,
while the 5-Mile Race begins at 8am.
The run is organized by the Buffalo
Chips Running Club, the largest and oldest of its kind in Sacramento.
