Theodore Judah Third Annual Gala Dinner Dance and Auction

Saturday April 28^th will be the Third Annual Gala Dinner Dance and Auction for Theodore Judah Elementary in East Sac.

It will start at 6:30 pm in the Clunie Community Center and feature a dinner catered by Z-Chef, live entertainment by Kiss N Tell, dancing and a silent and live auction.

American River Trail First Ride of the Year!

We took our five wheeled tandem recumbent bike out for the first ride of the year. Last year we didn't get in very much ridding and maybe we should have started out with a lighter ride, but Cheryl was inspired and I didn't resist. We cranked out 30 miles today on the American River Bike Trail.

The first 13 we felt great and strong. At mile 15 we had a lunch break in one of the many parks to regain our energy and then started the ride back home. Somehow, we didn't regain our energy. The ride home was a bit of a slow grind. We are both very sore now and I think tomorrow will be worse...

It was well worth it. We got to see lots of great wildlife and had a wonderful day of it. Just a couple of the great pictures we took on the trail.

Just Sold – 5418 Waterville Way Sacramento

This is a wonderful home in Natomas that just sold. My clients for this one are a young couple that went through many offers to finally get accepted on this property. We met many challenges along the way to the closing like the appraisal coming in low, the loan taking much longer than expected, the funding of the loan requiring some additional repairs and more delays, but we made it.

I was so happy to be able to deliver the gift basket and keys to this new home to my clients at work to make sure that there were no more delays in getting them into their new home!

New Construction in East Sac – 1109 39th Street

At 1109 39^th Street in East Sac they are remodeling this property that used to be a home cut up into five units. When they are done it will probably be 3100 square feet and sell for around $850,000 (larger home but across from the apartment on 39th). This house will have a three car garage with access from the alley.

I haven’t seen this remodelers work yet and look forward to seeing what he does with this house that I listed and sold to them.

Book Donations Needed

The Friends of McKinley Library will be holding a book sale on Saturday April 14^th from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm in the Clunie Community Center.

You can drop off donations of good or like new condition of books, CD’s, DVD’s and magazines at 601 Alhambra Blvd. All funds raised will go to support special programs at McKinley Library.

New Construction in East Sac – 431 Pico Way

431 Pico Way is a complete remodel by a regular group here in East Sac. They will be creating a home with around 2900 square feet and have not finalized a price yet, but I expect it to be in the $900,000 range.

I love Pico Way and the charm of this street. I look forward to seeing another great remodel out of these guys.

New Construction in East Sac – 905 46th Street

At 905 46^th Street in East Sac there will be a complete remodel close to 3000 square feet. They are expecting to price it around $950,000 and be finished around June. I know these builders and they do amazing work!

New Construction in East Sac – 1633 39th Street

There have been a lot of new construction and complete remodels happening in East Sac lately. I’m going to do a series of posts on some of the ones that I know about that will be coming on the market in the next several months. Most of them are not my listings but ones where I know the builders or the listing agent. I’ll point it out when it is my listing.

First on that list is one that I expect to hit the market any day now. 1633 39^th Street should be a 4,000+ square foot home priced around $1,300,000. These are the same builders that did 39th and M that I listed and sold last year.
